Gabriella Giandelli was born in Milan in 1963.

Was published on national and international magazines such as “Alter Alter”, “Frigidaire”, “Dolce Vita”, “Strapazin”, “Black”, “L’echo des Savanes”, “Frigobox”, “Pelure amére”, “Beaux Arts”.
She created the comic books Silent Blanket (Granata press, 1994 / Seuil, 2000 / Sinsentido, 2001), They waited a little and then they left (Mano edizioni, 1997 / Seuil, 1997), Under the leaves (Actes Sud, 2004 / Coconino press, 2008), Interiorae (Coconino press, 2010 / Actes Sud, 2010 / Fantagraphics, 2012).
She wrote the tale "Anita" designed by Stefano Ricci (Anita, Kappa edizioni, 1998), while on Jerry Kramsky texts she created "Fernando" e "L'uomo senza testa" (Margherita, 1997) and "Fernando e il vampiro trasparente" (Margherita, 1997) then collected in "Il bambino notturno" (orecchioacerbo, 2005).
She created the character Milo from which a long animation series was created for Rai3 and La5 France. As an illustrator she worked with newspapers, magazines and publishing houses:“Il manifesto”,“Il Sole 24 Ore”, “Le Monde”, “ Vanity”, “Linea d’ombra”, “Lo straniero”, “Telema”, “Art’è”, Einaudi, Feltrinelli, Mondadori, Actes Sud, Seuil, minimum fax, Il Melangolo, EditoriRiuniti, Condè Nast.
She illustrated the last album of the musician francese Dominique A ( Vers les lueurs 2012 )
She is currently collaborating with the journal “Internazionale” (For international, Nuages, 2006) and illustrates the weekly literary review of “La Repubblica”.
She has been exposed in international festivals and galleries.
She lives in Milan.
